Spiritual coaching for those ready to listen inward

Not a quick fix. Not a formula. A patient, honest companionship through the terrain of your own becoming.

How the work unfolds

Arrival — the first conversation

We begin with a sixty-minute session where nothing is prescribed. You speak, I listen. Together we locate the question beneath the question — the one that brought you here, even if you cannot yet name it. There is no intake form, no diagnostic checklist. Just two people and an honest space.

Descent — meeting what has been avoided

Over the following sessions we move gently toward the places you have learned to step around. Grief, confusion, numbness, longing — these are not obstacles to your growth. They are its raw material. Through guided meditation, somatic awareness, and reflective dialogue, we let these experiences speak on their own terms.

Stillness — the practice of not-knowing

This is the stage most programs skip. Before clarity arrives, there is a necessary pause — an interval of fertile uncertainty. I help you stay here without rushing toward premature answers. We develop contemplative practices tailored to your life rhythm: morning silence, walking inquiry, breath-based grounding.

Emergence — living from the inside out

Insight does not arrive like a thunderclap. It surfaces quietly, in the way you respond to a difficult conversation or the calm you find in a previously anxious moment. We integrate what has shifted and establish a self-sustaining practice so the work continues long after our sessions end.

A philosophy, not a product

We believe the soul does not need fixing. It needs witnessing.

Spiritual coaching at Insightful Guidance Pro is not about ascending to some higher plane. It is about descending into the fullness of your actual life — the mundane mornings, the difficult relationships, the quiet ache that surfaces at 3 a.m. We draw from contemplative traditions spanning centuries, but we are not bound to any single lineage. Our commitment is to presence, not performance. Every session is shaped by what you bring, not by a predetermined curriculum. We hold space for doubt, for anger, for the sacred ordinariness of being human. If you are looking for someone to give you answers, this is not the right fit. If you are looking for a companion who will sit with you in the questions until your own knowing speaks — welcome.

Modalities we draw from

Contemplative dialogue

Rooted in the Socratic and monastic traditions, this practice uses carefully placed questions to help you hear what you already know but have not yet articulated. It is conversation as spiritual practice, unhurried and receptive.

Somatic awareness

The body holds wisdom the mind often overrides. Through breathwork, body scanning, and gentle movement, we learn to read the signals stored in your nervous system — tension, openness, contraction, ease — and use them as a compass.

Archetypal exploration

Drawing from Jungian psychology and mythological frameworks, we explore the inner characters that shape your decisions — the caretaker, the exile, the seeker. Recognizing these patterns frees you from unconsciously repeating them.

Energy and chakra inquiry

We use the chakra system not as dogma but as a practical map for understanding where energy flows freely and where it stagnates. Sessions may include guided visualization, toning, or hands-off energy sensing to restore balance.

Mindfulness and meditation

We develop a sitting practice that fits your actual life — not an idealized version of it. Whether you have five minutes or fifty, we find a form of stillness that feels sustainable, honest, and genuinely nourishing rather than performative.

Ritual and ceremony

Small, intentional acts — lighting a candle before journaling, marking a seasonal transition, releasing a letter to the fire — create containers for transformation. We co-design personal rituals that honour your unique story and cultural context.

Reflections from the path

Excerpts shared with permission from the journals of those who have walked this work.

"I came expecting to be told what was wrong with me. Instead, I was asked what felt true. That single question rearranged something I had carried for decades. I still sit with it every morning."

"The grief did not disappear. But it stopped running the show. I learned to let it sit beside me at the table rather than underneath it, kicking at the legs. That distinction changed my marriage."

"I was sceptical of anything labelled 'spiritual.' What I found was the most grounded, practical inner work I have ever done. No incense required — just honesty and a willingness to be still."

"The breathing practice we developed together has become as natural as brushing my teeth. On hard days it is the only thing that keeps me from reacting the old way. I am grateful for that anchor."

Your guide

My name is Elara, and I have been holding space for seekers, doubters, and quiet rebels for over fifteen years. My path wound through a decade of contemplative practice in Buddhist and Christian mystical traditions, formal training in transpersonal psychology, and the deeply unglamorous work of my own inner reckoning.

I do not call myself a healer. I am a companion — someone who has walked enough of the dark wood to know that getting lost is not the same as being broken. I work from my studio in Gatineau, and I also meet with people across Canada and internationally through secure video sessions.

If something on this page resonated, even faintly, trust that resonance. It is how the work usually begins.

Questions you might be holding

Do I need to follow a particular spiritual tradition?

No. This work is non-denominational and honours all paths — including the path of having no path. Whether you identify as religious, spiritual, agnostic, or simply curious, the process adapts to your worldview. We never impose beliefs; we explore what is already alive in you.

How long does a typical engagement last?

Most people find that a cycle of eight to twelve sessions provides enough depth for meaningful shifts. Some choose to continue with monthly check-ins afterward. There is no contract or minimum commitment — you are free to pause or stop at any point.

Is this therapy or counselling?

Spiritual coaching is a distinct practice. While it can be deeply therapeutic, it is not psychotherapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If clinical support is needed, we will discuss referrals openly. Many clients work with both a therapist and a spiritual coach simultaneously, finding the two complementary.

Can sessions happen remotely?

Absolutely. More than half of current clients connect through secure video. The quality of presence is not diminished by distance — in fact, many people find they are more relaxed and open when sitting in their own space.

What does a session actually look like?

Each session is sixty to seventy-five minutes. We usually begin with a brief grounding practice — a few minutes of breath or silence — then move into dialogue. Depending on what arises, we may incorporate guided meditation, body awareness exercises, or reflective writing prompts. No two sessions are identical.

How much does it cost?

Session fees are discussed during the initial conversation, which is offered at no charge. A sliding scale is available for those experiencing financial hardship, because access to this kind of support should not be determined by income alone.
